- I had a nervous breakdown in May, I quit my job, my girlfriend left me, I have been suffering from depression ever since. I am slowly getting better. This is a diary of my road to recovery, and it involves talking a lot about sex.

- Bella (Woman of my Dreams or WD): A girl I met during the summer at a bar. Instantly fell for her and hoping for more, alas she has a bf.
- Shannon: a friend and former colleague who I see quite often as she lives in my neighborhood.
- Nina: Like Shannon, a friend and former colleague. We IM each other pretty much everyday, and often talk about sex. I don't see her a lot as she lives an hour away, but I love her greatly.
- George: Another one of my best friends who lives in London and is from Greece
- Paulo: One of my best friends who is Brazilian and lives in London
- Clara #8: My 8th and most recent sex partner. I fellfor her and she left me after I had a nervous breakdown and quit my job.
- Maria #4: My gf of 4 years between '01 and '05. We've remained good friends.
- Ashley: A nice girl who admitted to liking me once. She is moving out of town soon.
- David: my older brother, 30something, lives in the Big City.
- Scratchy: my loving cat.
